Failing to record critical financial details on asset lists, ignoring his repeated requests to pursue costs orders, forfeiting key opportunities to present the case on an asset-by-asset basis. At one point, they were even handed the opportunity to finalize the case through an undefended hearing, they turned it down and pressured him to instead move to arbitration, just to maximise their fees.
Their dishonesty and incompetence cost him decades of hard work and sacrifice. They could care less that they squandered his life’s work. They just wanted money.

How has AI (artificial intelligence) impacted the legal profession?
This is massive! A lawyer’s job today, is NOTHING like it was a couple years ago… The legal industry has permanently changed by near-automating legal research, document analysis, and contract reviews, leveraging predictive analytics, and streamlining e-discovery and due diligence. Basically, lawyers are only doing a tiny fraction of the work they used to do but have the nerve to charge the same amount of money! Not on our watch!
Is your service actually free? What’s the catch?
Good question. The answer is YES, FatKat Lawyer Hunters is a 100% no-cost zero-obligation service. You won’t pay a cent, ever! We collect a small fee from the lawyers directly. Our model is like how a mortgage broker might work. Taking on a client from us is a lot cheaper for a law firm than trying to attract that same client through traditional advertising, our expectation is that they pass that saving on to you, the customer.
What happens if I don’t like the lawyers you shortlist for me?
You’re the boss! We never want you to forget that. Our job is to protect you from an ocean of sharks. We use our industry expertise, hours of research, our network and fierce negotiation, to present you with honest and competent lawyers we know are best positioned to help you at the lowest rate… but you’re always in charge.
How do you find the right lawyers?
Our research process is massive. We invest hours in getting to know a lawyer’s reputation, track record, skill set, strengths, weaknesses, rates etc. But here’s the real beauty of the FatKat hunting system, we don’t only find great lawyers, we CREATE great lawyers. By controlling the workflow (clients we send), lawyers depend on us. When they depend on us, we have power that a single client (on their own) will never have. We use that power to negotiate (just like buying in bulk). Imagine a firm that only has one or two giant clients, they’d have to keep them happy, they have no choice!
Why can’t I trust online reviews?
This is a great question! The harsh reality is that online reviews are useless! By reading through reviews you might think you’re getting a picture of the experience typical customers have had with a lawyer, it’s simply not true. Like our founder discovered when he was ripped off by his lawyers, law firms list a condition in settlement agreements that prohibit the victim (ex-client) from posting negative reviews in order to receive their settlement amount. In our founder’s case, even though the settlement was only a tiny fraction of what they had robbed him of, he was forced into such a challenging financial situation that he had no choice but to agree. Reviews mean nothing.
Is it safer for me to just go with a big law firm? You get what you pay for, right?
Wrong! We’ve come to firmly believe that hiring a big fancy firm is almost always a huge mistake. Put simply, they overcharge! You’ll end up paying for a lawyer who passes on most the work to a junior with little to no experience, the backend research is now largely automated (negating any advantage to having a big team), you represent such a tiny fraction of their client base that they don’t really care about your business (or blowing your case), the lawyers in these firms are more interested in getting promotions than winning cases – their promotions depend on billings NOT client outcomes or results. Stay away!

We have policy not to employ practicing lawyers with any existing relationships with other firms. This is critical to remaining 100% impartial.
